After returning from my sister's wedding in Spokane, the three of us drove out to the Pacific Coast to spend the night at a motel on the beach. We observed birds and tide pool creatures, enjoyed a sunset over the Pacific, watched kitesurfers and kiteflyers, flew a kite of our own and drove along the Pacific Coast Highway to see other landmarks.
